Accomplishments: Athlete of the year for District 54 in 8th grade. Another accomplishment is making the Chicago Fire All Star team. Getting asked to go back to my old Jr. High School Mead and speaking about Special Olympics and about the great offers Mead has. Getting a gold medal with my sister at state for bocce. I am proud that I was able to get my black belt in karate.  

Impact Special Olympics has had on you and/or your family: Special Olympics made a big impact on my life. I became more social and outgoing. I made lots of new friends with and without special needs. It taught me that we are all the same no matter what. I became more active by doing sports. I learned a lot from Unify Champion Schools and my sister also joined Unify Champion Schools.

Why is being a member of the Chicago Fire All Star Team important to you? Being a part of the Chicago Fire All Star Team is important to me because I like playing soccer and making new friends. I am also proud of representing Hoffman Estate High School.
