Chicago Fire midfielder Aleksandar Katai made his second appearance for the Serbia Men's National Team in four days on Tuesday, getting the start in a 3-1 UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying win at Luxembourg.

Katai played the opening 45 minutes for Serbia, before being swapped for Olympique de Marseille midfielder Nemanja Radonjic at the onset of the second half. The appearance was Katai's ninth for his home country, helping Serbia leapfrog Luxembourg in the Group B standings of EURO 2020 qualifying. Fulham forward Aleksandar Mitrovic netted a brace in the Serbia victory.

As it stands, Serbia have seven point from four matches, and now reside in third place behind Portugal (eight points) and group leaders Ukraine (13 points). They'll resume qualifying against fifth-place Lithuania on Oct. 14.

Katai will return to Chicago as they prepare to host FC Dallas this Saturday afternoon, Sept. 14, in a nationally-televised meeting at SeatGeek Stadium (2:30 p.m. CT, Univision).
