In the midst of his 15th season in MLS, Chicago Fire forward Alan Gordon spoke with the MLS Players Association to discuss the 36-year-old's remarkable playing career. Among the topics covered are his path to MLS via Oregon State, how MLS has changed throughout his time as a professional, and his longevity in the league and continuing to push himself each day.
"I work a lot harder at both life and soccer than I did when I was young. In regards to the game, I usually am among the first to arrive at the stadium and among the last to leave. You can always be better and hard work is the only ticket to success."
