Vote for Sean Johnson in the 2016 MLS Save of the Year competition!

Sean Johnson

Sean Johnson just wrapped up his seventh season manning the goal for the Chicago Fire, a year in which he made 68 saves to bring his MLS career total to 552. One of those stops merited inclusion in the 2016 MLS Save of the Year competition, live now on MLSsoccer.com.

Johnson delivered one of the saves of the season in a Sept. 3 win vs. Philadelphia, going full-extension to deny Chris Pontius of a top-corner attempt. The play was one of 32 nominated for MLS Save of the Year but has already advanced to the quarterfinals, lined up against a save by Houston's Joe Willis.
