Kid M3mito takes on U.S. Soccer eNational Team qualifying this Friday

Chicago Fire eMLS player Guillermo TreviƱo (a.k.a. Kid M3mito) will look to earn a spot on the 2021 U.S. Soccer eNational Team this Friday at the finals of the U.S. Soccer eNT Open.


The 2021 U.S. Soccer eNT Open is the first official selection tournament to determine the U.S. eNational Team representatives that will compete in the FIFAe Nations Online Qualifier 2021, which will take place later this spring. The fully online qualifying tournament began on April 1 with an open competition leg for registrants attempting to qualify.


Kid M3mito bypassed the open competition and was automatically qualified for Friday's event based on his top-seven FIFA Global Series ranking on Xbox. He'll begin his path to the Xbox final with a 9:30 a.m. quarterfinal matchup against Dan Dropped U. Fans can track the bracket in real time here. The finals will then be an eight-player double elimination bracket on both PlayStation and Xbox.


Fans can additionally keep track of Kid M3mito's progress in the Xbox bracket by following the event on U.S. Soccer's social media accounts, and can can tune in live for the final four at twitch.tv/ussoccerofficial beginning at 7 p.m. CT.

Should Kid M3mito win the Xbox bracket, he'd join the winner of the PlayStation bracket to form the two-player squad that will represent the United States during qualification for the FIFAe Nations Cup 2021 and other eNational Team events during the year.
