Chicago Fire midfielder Djordje Mihailović was in action for the U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team on Thursday, captaining the side in a 1-0 defeat to Brazil.

The match was the first for the U.S. U-23s at the United International Football Festival, a four-team tournament played from Nov. 14-17 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

Mihailović put in an 85-minute shift on the day, before being relieved by Hobro IK's Emmanuel Sabbi. Matheus Cunha provided the difference-making goal for Brazil in the 15th minute. The U.S. will next play their counterparts from either Argentina or Chile on Sunday, Nov. 17, pending tournament results.
