Chicago Fire defender Francisco Calvo and the Costa Rica Men's National Team are in action on Friday night, as they prepare to take on Uruguay at the National Stadium of Costa Rica in San José, Costa Rica.

Calvo will be looking for his 49th appearance for Los Ticos, having last featured for the squad in a pair of matches at this summer's 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup. The 27-year-old is one of seven MLS players looking to showcase for Costa Rica, alongside FC Cincinnati's Kendall Waston and Allan Cruz, New York City FC's Ronald Matarrita, LA Galaxy's Giancarlo Gonzalez, and COlumbus Crew SC's David Guzman and Luis Diaz.

Uruguay will be without the likes of Barcelona's Luis Suarez and Paris Saint-Germain's Edinson Cavani, but have included defenders José Giménez (Atletico Madrid) and Martín Cáceres (Fiorentina) and midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur (Juventus) in their squad to take on the Ticos.

Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. CT, and is available to watch via Costa Rica's Teletica Canal 7 and Teletica En Vivo, as well as VTV Uruguay. The match is not being broadcast in the United States.
