After an undefeated run through the tournament's group stage, Chicago Fire midfielder Djordje Mihailović and the U.S. Men's National Team take on Curaçao in the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup quarterfinals on Sunday night.
Mihailović started and played 90 minutes for the USMNT in Wednesday night's group play finale, a 1-0 win over Panama that earned them first place in Group D. It was his second appearance for the U.S. in this year's tournament.
Sunday's match against Curaçao at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field will be the first-ever meeting between the two nations in Gold Cup play. The winner will advance to the semifinals to take on either Jamaica or Panama on Wednesday, July 3.
