The USMNT sits atop Group D heading into Wednesday night's meeting with Panama at Kansas City's Children's Mercy Park. Both teams have already qualified for the tournament's knockout round heading into the match, but will be vying for the top spot in the group come kickoff. The U.S. and Panama have each picked up a full six points through their first two tournament matches played, with the Stars and Stripes narrowly edging out Panama in the standings on goal differential.
Mihailović made his full USMNT debut against Panama earlier this year, scoring his debut goal in a 3-0 friendly win on January 19. The 20-year-old made an appearance as a second half substitution in the USMNT's tournament-opening 4-0 win over Guyana on June 18, and was an unused sub in the side's last match, a 6-0 victory over Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday.
