Chicago Fire Soccer Club Announces 2019 MLS Regular Season Schedule

19 Schedule v2

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill.(Jan. 7, 2019) ā€“ The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today the Clubā€™s 34-game schedule for the 2019 MLS regular season. The Fire will open the 2019 season on Saturday, March 2 when the team faces the LA Galaxy on the road at Dignity Health Sports Park. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT, the match against the Galaxy will be televised nationally on FS1.

The Men in Red will play their first home game of the 2019 season at SeatGeek Stadium the following weekend when the Fire plays host to Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 9 at Noon CT.

Season ticket packages for the 2019 campaign are available for purchase online or by calling 888-MLS-FIRE to speak with a ticket sales representative. Single-game tickets for the Fireā€™s 2019 home matches will be available beginning Friday, Jan. 18. Fans looking to secure tickets prior to Jan. 18 are invited to take advantage of the Clubā€™s Opening Day Winter Pack offer or the 10-Ticket Flex Plan.

The Fire will play 17 home games and 17 away games during the 2019 MLS campaign. The Men in Red will take on each of their Eastern Conference opponents twice during the season, with one game at home and one game away. The Fire will face each Western Conference opponent once during regular season action.

The Fireā€™s longest home stand will occur from March 9-30, with the Men in Red scheduled to face Orlando City SC (March 9), Seattle Sounders FC (March 16) and the New York Red Bulls (March 30) during that stretch. In addition, the Fire will host back-to-back matches at home on three different occasions in 2019, including consecutive home matches against Ohio-based clubs FC Cincinnati (July 13) and Columbus Crew SC (July 17). The July 13 contest will mark the Fireā€™s first MLS match against 2019 MLS expansion side FC Cincinnati.
