The year's top-25 best-selling player jerseys from around Major League Soccer were announced on Monday, with Chicago Fire midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger's No. 31 shirt landing at No. 6 among all MLS players.
Based on overall retail sales of adidas MLS jerseys on MLSStore.com, the rankings span from the beginning of 2018 through the conclusion of the regular season. LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic topped this year's list, while LAFC's Carlos Vela, Atlanta United FC's Josef Martinez, D.C. United's Wayne Rooney, and Atlanta United FC's Miguel Almiron rounded out the top five.
Schweinsteiger has scored four goals and added six assists in 30 matches (29 starts) played for the Men In Red this season.
