CHICAGO AND DALLAS(July 31, 2018) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and AT&T today announced a multi-year agreement. The sponsorship is a multichannel approach with brand integration across broadcast, digital, video, content, in-stadium exposure, and on-site activation at Chicago Fire-related events.

Throughout the term of the agreement, the Chicago Fire and AT&T will work together to grow the relationship between Fire fans and the Club through the use of technology.

“AT&T is proud to team up with the Chicago Fire,” said Shizuka Suzuki, AVP, Corporate Sponsorships at AT&T. “We look forward to bringing fans—both at home and in the stadium—closer to the action through behind-the-scenes exclusive content and on-site activation.”

AT&T will also become the official presenter of the Starting XI across all Chicago Fire platforms. This feature integrates AT&T into the starting lineup announcement each matchday.

Additionally, AT&T will present exclusive content and experiences to Fire fans, including a behind-the-scenes content series, and activations tied to competitive gaming.

“We are extremely pleased to work with AT&T,” said Fire COO John Urban. “This innovative collaboration will directly enhance our fan experience. We couldn’t be more excited to team up with AT&T and give the Fire community even more opportunities to engage with our Club."

Last year, AT&T became the presenting sponsor of Major League Soccer’s Decision Day, the final day of the regular season when every team plays at the exact same time. The result is the most intense and dramatic two hours of the MLS season as teams fight for playoff positions. AT&T also has a strong presence across a number of promotional vehicles, including the AT&T Goal of the Week, Month, and Year voting platforms and The Movement presented by AT&T, an online MLSsoccer.com series that explores the growing soccer movement and culture in North America. AT&T has been a sponsor of MLS since 2009.

On Decision Day 2018 -- October 28 -- the Chicago Fire host D.C. United at Toyota Park. AT&T will be the presenting sponsor of the match, which will also serve as Fan Appreciation Day.
