For the second straight week, the Chicago Fire's Bastian Schweinsteiger has been named to the MLS Team of the Week!

Schweinsteiger was included among the Week 6 edition along the back line for his efforts delivered in a role as sweeper in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Columbus Crew SC. Schweinsteiger played a key part in helping keep the club's first clean sheet of 2018, cleaning up a slew of Crew SC opportunities in the second half and providing his usual calming presence in distribution.

Joining Schweinsteiger this week is forward Nemanja Nikolic, who was chosen to the Team of the Week bench for creating and finishing the only goal scored on Saturday night. The goal was Nikolic's fourth of the season.
