Chicago Fire forward Nemanja Nikolic was included among Hungary head coach Georges Leekens' starting eleven in the country's friendly against Kazakhstan at the Groupama Aréna in Budapest on Friday.

The Hungarians ultimately fell to Kazakhstan 3-2 on the day, despite battling back from being 2-0 down within the first 10 minutes. Goals from Ádám Szalai in the 21st minute and New England Revolution forward Krisztián Németh in the 68th minute helped make it a game, but the Hungarians were unable to find an equalizer over the final 22 minutes plus stoppage time.

Nikolic played 76 minutes in the match, before being replaced by Dániel Böde.

The Hungarians next take the field for a friendly against Scotland on Tuesday, March 27, which will again take place at the Groupama Aréna in Budapest.
