MLS reveals slate of 2018 home openers, Fire set to welcome Sporting Kansas City on March 10

CHICAGO (Dec. 19, 2017) ā€“ The Chicago Fire Soccer Club will open the 2018 MLS season on the road against the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado on Saturday, March 3 at 8 p.m. CT.
The following week the Fire will host Opening Day at Toyota Park when they welcome Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, March 10.
Fans can guarantee their seats for the Fireā€™s home opener by taking advantage of the clubā€™s Opening Day Holiday Pack offer, one of three 2018 Mini-Plans or securing a 2018 season ticket package. Single-game ticket information will be released at a later date.
The Fire will again hit the road during week three when they travel to face Minnesota United FC for their home opener at TCF Bank Stadium located on the campus of the University of Minnesota on Saturday, March 17.
During the 2018 MLS regular season, each club will play 34 games, including 17 home games and 17 away games. Teams will face each of their conference opponents (10 in the East, 11 in the West) twice during the season with one game at home and one game away. Western Conference teams will play one additional intra-conference game and Eastern Conference teams will play two. All teams will face each non-conference opponent once.
The complete regular season schedule will be announced in January.
