CHICAGO(Oct. 26, 2017) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Thursday that midfielder Djordje Mihailovic has been diagnosed with a right Anterior Cruciate Ligament rupture. Mihailovic is scheduled to have ACL reconstruction surgery in the coming weeks. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Brian Forsythe at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush.
Mihailovic suffered the injury during the second half of the Fire’s Audi MLS Cup Playoff match on Wednesday. The rookie from Lemont, Ill. had one goal and two assists in 17 games this season.
