Veljko Paunovic may have a couple of familiar faces in his Starting XI when he leads the 2017 MLS All-Stars against Real Madrid (August 2, Soldier Field).
Two of the Chicago Fire manager's leading stars are currently among the leading vote-getters for the Fan XI. Nemanja Nikolic is Major League Soccer's top goal-scorer (12) and its top vote-getter among forwards while Bastian Schweinsteigerranks No. 2 among MLS midfielders.
Nikolic also stands fifth in the EA SPORTS "More Than A Vote Challenge," which counts votes via goals scored by the player in EA SPORTS FIFA 17 and will be used to determine the third and final forward.

The online fan ballot consists of 176 players (eight per team) who were nominated by media members. The "Fan XI" designation next to a player's name below means he is on the provisional matchday roster. The Fan XI presented by Target consists of one goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders, and three forwards. All voting ends on June 30 at midnight PT.
