MLS and adidas unveil 2015 match ball "NATIVO"

The 2014 MLS season ended Sunday and already the league is raring to go for 2015.
While the protected lists for Wednesday's Expansion Draft are due out later Monday afternoon, MLS' first big step towards next season was their unveiling of the league's new match ball, the adidas NATIVO.
Some of its features:

  • Two stars to represent Major League Soccer's American home
  • A maple leaf to represent the league's Canadian home
  • Red, white and blue which represent the new MLS logo set to be used in 2015 and also the colors of the U.S. and Canada


adidas claims NATIVO is it's most tested ball ever. It features six identical panels designed to optimize aerodynamics, stability, and symmetry in flight, and uses materials and technology that match the standards for in the
Brazuca, the official match ball of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
