In today’s Centerback, Brendan and I talk the Fire’s 2-1 comeback win vs. Columbus, preparations for Wednesday’s all-important Open Cup quarterfinal match vs. Orlando City and discuss Frank Klopas’ impromptu stop to meet Fire supporters in Indiana on the road back from Crew Stadium Saturday night.
On the stop, Klopas had to say:
“I was driving back also and with the commitment our fans make to be there in Columbus supporting us, you can’t miss an opportunity like that to thank them. Taking the time, coming all the way out there to support the team as loud as they did for 90 minutes -- it’s the least I could have done.”
