WCQ: Lindpere bags a goal in Estonia's 2-0 win over Andorra

The Chicago Fire’s Joel Lindpere got on the score sheet to help Estonia to a 2-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Andorra in Tallinn Tuesday night.


With the home side already leading through Henri Anier’s first half stoppage time strike, Lindpere entered the game in the 55th minute and took just six minutes to nod the side ahead with his icing header in the 61st.

The goal was Lindpere’s sixth in his 86th international appearance for his country.


With the win Estonia improve move up to six points and currently sit sixth in UEFA Group D qualifying.


With a series of friendlies planned for the summer, Estonia will take time off from qualifying before hosting Holland in Tallinn on September 6.
