CHICAGO, Ill. (July 6, 2012) – Chicago Fire midfielder Pavel Pardo will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch at the Chicago White Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays game on Saturday, July 7 at U.S. Cellular Field at 3:10 p.m. CT. Prior to the first pitch Pardo will sign autographs at the Orgullo Sox festival from 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. CT.  

Pardo is currently the second-most capped player in Mexican National Team history with 148 caps and represented Mexico in the 1998 and 2006 FIFA World Cups.

Currently in the midst of a four game unbeaten streak, the Fire’s record at home to start the 2012 MLS season (5-1-2; 17pts.) is the best through eight matches since the Fire moved to Toyota Park in 2006 and is tied for the second best home start in club history with 2001 and 2003. The Fire host defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy Presented by Quaker Oats at Toyota Park Sunday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m. CT (ESPN/97.5 ESPN Deportes FM).
