We Want You to Sing With Us!
Section 8 Chicago has long been recognized for providing some of the most creative and vibrant support in Major League Soccer, both at home and on the road. Since the very beginning, Fire fans have been providing passionate and vocal support to the players on the field. The Fire and the Independent Supporters Association would like to amplify that support throughout all of Toyota Park. With that, Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Section 8 Chicago are partnering to launch the "Stand. Sing. Participate." initiative.
What is Stand. Sing. Participate?
To amplify the atmosphere created within The Harlem End, we're inviting all Fire supporters in attendance at Toyota Park to participate in specific chants that originate in the supporters sections. If you've been to even only one big night at Toyota Park, you've heard the songs. "Hot Time in Old Town". "Vamos La Maquina Roja". "Just Can't Get Enough". Songs that reflect the history of Our City and the diversity of Our Club and its supporters. Have you ever wanted to sing along with the supporters sections but weren't exactly sure what the words were? No worries, the Fire and Section 8 Chicago will have you covered throughout the stadium with chant cards to guide you along the way. This Saturday as you enter the gates at Toyota Park, you should receive a chant card listing five popular chants in Section 8 Chicago. When you hear them come out of The Harlem End, we ask that you Stand, Sing and Participate! Together with our combined voices, we can unite all Chicago Fire fans to create a dominant in-stadium force unseen in any American team sport and establish a home-field advantage whenever the Chicago Fire play.
Miss the chant cards at the gate? Find our roving Firestarters or wander over to the supporters sections and grab one! If you are unable to get one or can't get to the home opener don't worry we have you covered. The chant cards will be distributed throughout the entire season!
About Section 8 Chicago
Section 8 Chicago is the Independent Supporters' Association (ISA) for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. The ISA is a registered 501(c)7 non-profit organization run by volunteers through an elected board of directors. The ISA represents all Fire supporters, organizing in-stadium support, road trips, tailgates, watch parties and social events.
