The Chicago Fire Soccer Club today announced that the club and defender Deris Umanzor have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
“We want to thank Deris for his contributions to the Chicago Fire and wish him the best in the next step of his career,” said Fire Technical Director Frank Klopas.
Umanzor joined the Fire in 2010 and appeared in 10 matches, starting five, while accumulating 508 minutes his lone season with the Men in Red.
