Fire Release Andrew Dykstra

Andrew Dykstra is the new starting goalkeeper in Chicago.

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that the Fire have released goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra.
“We wish Andrew the very best in his future endeavors and thank him for his contributions to the club,” said Frank Klopas, Fire technical director.
Dykstra appeared in 17 matches for the Fire over the course of two seasons. The Woodbridge, VA product made his Fire debut in his second MLS season, going 5-6-6 with five shutouts and a 1.28 goals against average.
