[inline_node:308238]Teams have the chance to select players in order to obtain their rights. They can then negotiate a new contract with the players they choose. Thirty-two players are available, including New York's Juan Pablo Ángel, Sporting Kansas City's Jimmy Conrad, and the Columbus Crew's Guillermo Barros Schelotto.

The only player who was available for last week's Stage 1 draft but is not available for Wednesday's Stage 2 draft is LA Galaxy veteran Jovan Kirovski. Presumably, he is looking to renegotiate his contract with the club.
The first-ever Re-Entry Process Stage 1 draft saw little activity. On that day, only two teams made selections: D.C. United picked Houston striker Joseph Ngwenya and the Columbus Crew took Sporting KC defender Aaron Hohlbein.
More activity is expected in the Stage 2 draft.
