Riding the success of the U16 Academy’s national
championship win in July, the Chicago Fire Soccer Club was
nominated Tuesday in four categories for the 2010 Best of U.S. Soccer
Awards.

The U16’s dramatic shootout victory on July 16 in the US Soccer Development
Academy national championship is nominated for Best Team Performance while Luis Medina's goal in the match is up for Best Goal.
