goes up against Marco Pappa’s blast from 25 in the Fire’s return from the
18-day World Cup break.
The winner will
take the Nowak championship advance to the Goal of the Year Final Four, taking
on the victor from the Kubik bracket. We could see a potential Pappa vs. Pappa
semifinal if the Guatemalan international can upend John today and have his #1
seeded 2010 MLS Goal of the Year (April 10 vs. San Jose) defeat #2 Peter Lowry
(10/8 vs. CLB) on Tuesday.
