MLS Commissioner Don Garber said on Sunday that he will unveil details of the 2011 schedule and playoff formats as well as the possibility of moving to an international schedule.
The announcement will come during a halftime interview of the MLS Cup 2010 broadcast on ESPN and TSN2 tonight. The match is at 8:30 pm ET.
Speaking at the MLS Supporters Summit on Sunday, Garber indicated that next year's playoff format will change slightly—a "tweak," he said during a meeting with media members on Saturday—with the possibility of a play-in match.
