Last week’s guest on the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast wasFrank Klopas. Frank is the Technical Director for the Chicago Fire and he is a legend in the Chicago soccer scene. Frank is an MLS alumni, former Chicago Fire and USMNT player and in 2004 was inducted into the Chicago Fire’s “Ring of Fire” which is their hall of fame.
On the podcast we talked about the Fire’s two new designated player signings Nery Castillo and Freddie Ljungberg, how he makes decisions on players, he explains his day to day responsibilities, discuss the Fire’s youth and Academy teams, took a few user submitted questions and then previewed Sunday’s game against the New York Red Bulls. I apologize for the delay in getting this podcast on the internet airwaves before this past Sunday’s Fire game.
