Johnson repeats as NAPA Save of the Week winner

Chicago's rookie goalkeeper Sean Johnson made seven big saves against New York on Sunday.

Sean Johnson is making this a regular thing. For the second week in a row, the Chicago Fire rookie has won the NAPA Save of the Week.

Johnson's spectacular sprawling save on Juan Pablo Ángel's header late in the Fire's 0-0 draw with the New York Red Bulls was clearly the fans' favorite, earning more than half the votes this week.


With the win, Johnson joins Kansas City's Jimmy Nielsen as the only back-to-back SOTW winners this season.
