Players Challenge Fans to "Pizza Friendly"

10% of Piece’s Specialty “Il Fuoco” Pizza and Worryin’ Ale Beer Purchased Will Benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation
The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that it will hold a “Pizza Friendly” at Chicago Wicker Park hot spot Piece on Tuesday, May 25 from 5-7 PM in advance of its friendly match against Italian super-club AC Milan on Sunday, May 30 at 7:30 PM CT. Fire players will be making pizzas and serving fans throughout the event. Piece has specially crafted the Il Fuoco (Fire in Italian) Pizza in honor of the match and will feature a special on its award-winning Worryin’ Ale, with a portion of the proceeds from both the Fire pizza and beer being donated to the Chicago Fire Foundation.

WHAT: The "Chicago Fire Pizza Friendly" will feature Fire players making and serving fans specialty Il Fuoco pizza - – a unique Fire spin on Piece’s classic New Haven-style thin crust pizza made exclusively in honor of the Fire’s upcoming match vs. AC Milan. A portion of proceeds sold from the Il Fuoco pizza and Piece’s award winning Worryin’ Ale beer will be donated to the Chicago Fire Foundation. The Fire will offer several giveaways during the Pizza Friendly, including Fire scarves, jerseys and other fan favorites.
