How he joined the club: Acquired through Major League Soccer’s Allocation Process on Aug. 10, 2017. The Fire sent the club’s natural third round pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft and the No. 19 spot in the Allocation Ranking Order to the Portland Timbers in exchange for the No. 6 spot.

2017 (CHICAGO FIRE): Played in two games for the Fire after joining the club on Aug. 10. He recorded a win in his first start, a 4-1 romp against SJ on 9/27; Sanchez made eight saves in the match. Sanchez also drew the start in Chicago’s final regular season match, a 3-0 loss at HOU on 10/22.
