How he joined the Club: Acquired through Major League Soccer’s Allocation Process on Aug. 10, 2017 … The Fire sent the club’s natural third round pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft and the No. 19 spot in the Allocation Ranking Order to the Portland Timbers in exchange for the No. 6 spot.

2019 (CHICAGO FIRE): Made his season debut and recorded six saves on July 23 in the Fire's 2-0 Leagues Cup match loss against Cruz Azul.

2018 (CHICAGO FIRE): Started in 24 games in his first full season with the Fire … Made his debut on March 10 and recorded 11 consecutive starts … Led the team in games played in goal (25) and starts in goal (24) ... Led the team in saves (79) and minutes played in goal (2207).

2017 (CHICAGO FIRE): Played in two games for the Fire after joining the club on Aug. 10 … Recorded a win in his first start, a 4-1 romp over SJ on Sept. 27, while also recording eight saves in the match.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER: Signed as FC Dallas’ sixth-ever Homegrown Player on Feb. 18, 2011 … Loaned to Fort Lauderdale Strikers (NASL) in 2013 where he made 14 appearances … Acquired by the UANL Tigres in 2014 … Made five appearances on loan to Tampico Madero in 2016.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER (MEXICO): Sánchez was the starting goalkeeper and played in all seven games as Mexico captured the FIFA Under-17 World Cup title on home soil in 2011 … He would go on to be the starter for El Tri in the 2013 U-20 World Cup, where Mexico reached the Round of 16.
