2016 (CHICAGO FIRE): Scored five goals in 30 games for the Fire, each career highs during his three seasons in Chicago. He also notched two assists and 19 starts. Cocis had a goal and an assist on 9/16 vs. DC. U.S. Open Cup: Cocis started and captained the club in each of their four matches.

2015 (CHICAGO FIRE): Started 22 matches, appearing in 26 total. Tallied his first MLS goal at NYC on 5/15. Also scored vs. NE on 7/25. Wore the captain’s armband against HOU on 7/3. U.S. Open Cup: Appeared in three matches as the Fire reached the semifinal for the twelfth time in club history; wore the captain’s armband against Orlando City SC on July 22.

2014 (CHICAGO FIRE): Signed with the Fire on July 14. Appeared in ten matches, starting in eight. Made his MLS debut on July 30 against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Suffered a facial laceration and fracture in the Fire’s match against the Houston Dynamo on Sept. 28 after taking an errant elbow to the face. Missed the remainder of the season while recovering from the injury.

2013 (GOVERLA UZHGOROD): Joined Goverla Uzhgorod of Ukraine on Sept. 12, 2013 with a free transfer. Had three goals and one assist during Ukrainian league play. Cocis also played 90 minutes in the club’s third-round Ukrainian Cup match against Arsenal Kyiv.

2012-13 (FK ROSTOV): Had three goals and one assist in all competitions for FK Rostov. Cocis also scored a key goal for the club during their relegation playoff with SKA Energia, helping keep FK Rostov in the Russian top division with a 3-0 aggregate victory. Cocis had one goal and one assist during Russian Cup play, helping FK Rostov reach the semifinals.

2011-12 (FK ROSTOV): Signed with FK Rostov on Aug. 1, 2011 with a free transfer. Had three goals in 25 appearances during the regular season. He also scored a goal in FK Rostov’s relegation playoff, helping keep them in the top division against Shinnik. Helped FK Rostov reach the semifinals of the Russian Cup.

2010-2011 (AL-NASR RIYADH): Joined Al-Nasr Riyadh of the Saudi Arabian top division on July 1, 2010 with a free transfer. He had two goals in 12 games before heading to Ukraine on loan. Karpaty Lviv: Joined Karpaty Lviv on loan from Al-Nasr Riyadh on Feb. 1, 2011. Scored two goals in 11 games for the Ukrainian side.

2010 (POLITEHNICA TIMISOARA): Joined Politehnica Timisoara on July 1, 2010. He had three goals and one assist in nine games.

2009 (LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW): Scored one goal in 15 appearances. Also made one appearance in Russian Cup action.

2008 (LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW): Had one goal and one assist in 25 appearances.

2007 (LOKOMOTIV MOSCOW): Joined Lokomotiv Moscow on Jan. 1, 2007 on a transfer from Sheriff Tiraspol. Had two goals and two assists in 14 appearances. Also made four appearances in UEFA Cup group play.

2004-06 (SHERIFF TIRASPOL): Joined the Moldovan side on July 1, 2004. From 2004 through 2006, Cocis helped Sheriff to three Divizia Nationala honors, two Moldovan Super Cups and the Moldovan Cup, and started seven UEFA Champions League matches.

2001-04 (FC UNIVERSITATEA CLUJ): Scored 14 goals in 37 appearances during his three years with the first team.

INTERNATIONAL (ROMANIA): A veteran Romanian international who has earned 50 caps for his country, Cocis made his international debut on Aug. 17, 2005 in a 2-0 win over Andorra. With six assists to his credit, Cocis scored two goals for his country including the lone goal in Romania’s 1-0 win over the Faroe Islands in UEFA World Cup Qualifying on Sept. 10, 2008. Cocis most recently appeared in Romania’s UEFA World Cup Qualifying playoff match against Greece on Nov. 15, 2013.
