MLS CAREER
2014: Tallied career-high stats across the board. Appeared in 32 total MLS matches, starting 29. Scored a team-leading eight goals and added five assists. Scored in the season opener at Chivas USA on March 9. Tallied a late, 82th minute equalizer at D.C. United on March 29. Scored in consecutive matches on April 12 at Montreal and April 19 vs. New England. Missed the May 3 match vs. Real Salt Lake due to a red card. Scored the equalizer in a 5-4 road in over the New York Red Bulls on May 10 for the first win of the season. Scored the game winner against the New England Revolution on July 12, leading the Fire to their first win at Gillette Stadium since June 27, 2010. Scored a 90th minute equalizer against Toronto FC on Aug. 23 and scored the opening goal in a 3-3 draw against D.C. United on Sept. 20. U.S. OPEN CUP: Scored two goals in Open Cup play, the game winner in a 4-2 overtime win against the Columbus Crew on June 25 and the first goal against the Atlanta Silverbacks on July 9.
2013: Joined the Fire prior to the start of the MLS season. Made 14 MLS appearances, often inserted to provide a late-game spark. Scored three goals in 299 minutes. In the 84th minute on the road at RSL May 25, the 89th minute at DC on Oct. 4 and in the 91st minute at NY on Oct. 27. INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLIES: Played the full 90 minutes against Club America on July 10, assisted on Sherjill MacDonald’s goal in the 91st minute. U.S. OPEN CUP: Made one appearance, played 16 minutes in the semifinal round as the Fire fell 2-0 to D.C. United on Aug. 8.
2012: Made three appearances and scored one goal for the Colorado Rapids before signing with Toronto FC on July 21, 2012. In his debut with the Reds, scored in the 58th minute of an international friendly against English Premier League side Liverpool. Started six of the 11 MLS matches in which he appeared, adding one assist in 548 minutes.
2011: Played in 15 matches, starting a career-high five games. Scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory at Chivas USA on March 26. Led the Rapids Reserves in goals (6) and assists (2). Played and started seven matches for the Reserves. Started one of three matches played in CONCACAF Champions League. Scored his first international goal in a 3-1 win at Isidro Metapan (9/28). Playoffs: Played the entire second half against Sporting KC in the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals (11/2).
2010: Appeared in 14 games with Colorado, with two starts, playing 245 minutes and scored one goal. Made Rapids debut at KC (4/10). Made his second career start and first start for the Rapids vs. San Jose (8/7) and played a season-high 66 minutes. Scored his first goal with the Rapids vs. Philadelphia (9/29). Appeared in one game, playing seven minutes, for San Jose before being acquired by the Rapids in a trade on April 7, 2010. Playoffs: made MLS postseason debut in Eastern Conference Final vs. San Jose (11/13) playing one minute as a sub.
2009: Selected by the Earthquakes in the third round (32nd overall) of the 2009 MLS SuperDraft. Saw action in 24 matches, scoring one goal and notching two assists. Made MLS debut vs. New England (3/21). Made his first career start vs. Columbus (5/27) and registered first career assist. Came on as a sub in the 61st minute against FC Dallas (10/7) and scored his first career MLS goal in the 73rd minute.
COLLEGE
Had an outstanding career for the UC Davis Aggies, appearing in 77 games over four seasons and recording 31 goals and seven assists. Finished his career in the top five in both goals and points in UC Davis history. As a senior in 2008, led team to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. Finished as the conference leader in goals scored (15) and was second in points (31). Earned second-team All-America and first-team All-Far West Region accolades from the NSCAA and Big West Offensive Player of the Year honors. Named to 2007 All-Big West Second Team. Scored the Aggies' lone goal in their first ever NCAA Division I tournament game at California (11/23/07). Led the team in goals (9), points (19) as a sophomore in 2006.
PERSONAL
Majored in biological sciences at UC Davis. Was a two-sport standout at Liberty High School, excelling in both soccer and track and field. Earned back-to-back Yosemite League MVP honors in soccer and led county in scoring to capture Offensive Player of the Year honors.
