2015: Acquired via trade from the Houston Dynamo on April 13 in exchange for Fire midfielder Alex. Johnson made his season and Fire debut off the bench against RSL on 5/9 and then scored his first goal in Chicago two games later at CLB on 5/22, an equalizer in the 94th minute. Johnson also scored the game-winner against SEA on 7/11, finding the net in the 92nd minute of a 1-0 victory. Additionally, Johnson recorded assists vs. DAL on 8/2 and at PHI on 8/16. U.S. Open Cup: Johnson started three of the club’s four matches and appeared in all four.
