Congrats to midfielder Brandt Bronico, winner of the 2019 Chicago Fire Goal of the Year!

We asked fans to vote on which of this season's most impressive finishes ws worthy of the 2019 crown in a head-to-head, bracket-style competition, and Bronico's back post heat against New England rose to the top. Eight players entered the contest, but only one emerged as the Goal of the Year champion.

Bronico narrowly edged out Przemyslaw Frankowski in the contest's final round, bringing in 52% of the vote across the Chicago Fire's Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages as well as chicago-fire.com.

He now joins the ranks of previous winners Logan Pause (2010), Jalil Anibaba (2011), Chris Rolfe (2012), Daniel Paladini (2013), Patrick Nyarko (2014), Lovel Palmer (2015) and Matt Polster (2016), Arturo Alvarez (2017), and Bastian Schweinsteiger (2018).
