Recreational Player Camp
Chicago Fire Recreational Summer Camps are based on a unique FUNdamental approach to soccer coaching and is appropriate for boys and girls aged 3 to 8 years.
The main objective of a Fire Recreational Camp is to combine the overall development of the child’s physical capacities and fundamental movement skills, with an introduction into the key components of soccer.
On Fire Recreational Camps there is a large emphasis of fun as qualified coaching staff use a wide range of coaching techniques to set a foundation for the long-term technical development of soccer players.
Competitive Player/Team Camp
Chicago Fire Competitive Summer Camps are based on a ‘Learning to Train’ approach to soccer coaching and is appropriate for boys and girls aged 9 to 13 years.
Fire Competitive Camps look to further develop fundamental movement skills while educating players in the five pillars of the game of soccer: technical, tactical, physical, psychological and social. Players will participate in 70:30 training to competition ratio so that they can instantly apply new techniques in game related exercises.
We understand at this age players progress at various rates, with this in mind coaching staff use a variety of coaching techniques to identify where the player is at in his/her own stage of development, where they want to go and design a personalized approach on how to get them there.
Advanced Player/Team Camp
Chicago Fire Advanced Summer Camps move from ‘Training to Train’ and ‘Training to Compete’ to a ‘Training to Win’ approach to soccer coaching and are appropriate for boys and girls aged 14 to 18 years. The main objective is to optimize fitness preparation, soccer specific skills and performance.
Fire Advanced Camps have 60:40 training to competition ratio with players experiencing a high level of competition specific training activities in a variety of competition conditions.
Players will learn how to manage their bodies’ pre, during and post game using a wide range of nutritional and hydration education techniques to maximize performance.
