Two Chicago Fire FC II Players Called Into National Team Duty

CHICAGO (Nov. 16, 2023) - Chicago Fire FC today announced that two members of the Club’s MLS NEXT Pro team, Chicago Fire FC II have been selected to represent their respective countries during the upcoming FIFA international break. Midfielder Harold Osorio has joined the El Salvador Men’s National Team, while forward Omari Glasgow will represent the Guyana Men’s National Team.  

Osorio, 20, returns to the El Salvador National Team ahead of a pair of international friendlies against Curaçao on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. CT at the Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad, Curaçao. The two teams will meet again in Willemstad on Monday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. CT. Osorio can make his first international appearance since logging his first career start for La Selecta in the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, which took place from June 24-July 16, 2023. 

Glasgow and the Golden Jaguars continue their journey in the CONCACAF Nations League competition with the final two Matchdays of group stage play. Guyana will start their international break against the Bahamas on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. CT at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Golden Jaguars will stay in the Dominican Republic and conclude group stage play against Antigua and Barbuda on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. CT at the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium.  

Guyana currently sits at the top of League B Group D, with a perfect 4-0-0 record. Glasgow returns to international duty following a two-goal performance against Puerto Rico in the previous FIFA window last October. Glasgow’s performances were recognized, with the young winger being selected into the CONCACAF Nations League League B Best XI.
