After Sunday afternoon's 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution in the Chicago Fire's 2016 home finale, two players have been included among the MLS Team of the Week for their respective performances.

Attacker David Accam (one goal, one assist) was selected to the starting XI midfield alongside Montreal's Ignacio Piatti, Dallas' Mauro Diaz and D.C. United's Lloyd Sam. The goal was Accam's ninth in MLS play this season, and proved to be the game-winner.

Defender Brandon Vincent was included among the Team of the Week's bench after picking up his third assist of the season on a smooth combination with Accam that ended up on the foot of Michael de Leeuw, who finished inside the box for the game's opening goal. Vincent also held firm defensively, picking up four clearances, four interceptions, four tackles and four defensive recoveries as well.
