Chicago Fire Soccer Club Acquires General Allocation Money from FC Dallas

CHICAGO (Dec. 11, 2015) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club acquired general allocation money and the No. 17 selection in Stage One of the 2015 MLS Re-Entry Draft from FC Dallas in exchange for the Fire’s top spot in the same draft on Friday.


Chicago retains their top selection in Stage 2 of the 2015 MLS Re-Entry Draft. Stage One begins at 2 p.m. CT today and will be conducted via conference call. Stage Two will be held on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. CT in the same fashion. MLS will release the results following each of the calls. The Re-Entry Draft Order is determined by the reverse order of the final standings in the MLS season, taking into account postseason performance.
