Join the Chicago Fire Soccer Club's 18th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, Oct. 8

BRIDGEVIEW (Oct. 1, 2015) — The Chicago Fire Soccer Club invites supporters to join in the celebration of the club’s 18th Anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 8 at Toyota Park. The event will run from 6:30-9 p.m. and is free for all attendees with a $10 suggested donation to benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation.
Founded on Oct. 8, 1997 -- the 126th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire -- the Chicago Fire Soccer Club will mark its 18th birthday with food, music, trivia, FIFA 16, foosball, raffle prizes, cake and more in the Stadium Club at Toyota Park. Chicago Fire COO Atul Khosla will address the group at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Section 8 Chicago and Sector Latino will be present to help lead the celebration while DJ Step, the official matchday DJ of the Chicago Fire, also will be on hand for a live set.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be served at no charge during the event, with a cash bar also available. The Fire Fan Shop at Toyota Park has extended its hours to remain open until 7 p.m.
Parking at Toyota Park is free for all attendees. The Chicago Fire also will offer a free round-trip bus ride originating from Cleo’s Chicago (1935 W Chicago Ave.) for individuals in need of a ride to the celebration.
