In anticipation of Ante Razov’s Oct. 3 induction into the club’s Ring of Fire, the Chicago Fire are inviting supporters to celebrate the occasion with a Meet-and-Greet with Razov on Friday, Oct. 2. Razov will be at The Globe Pub (1934 W Irving Park Road) in Chicago mingling with fans from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
There is a $10 suggested donation to the Chicago Fire Foundation upon entering the event.
Located at the intersection of Irving Park Road, Damen Ave. and Lincoln Ave., The Globe Pub is accessible via the CTA Brown Line (Irving Park stop).
One of the most prolific strikers in Major League Soccer history, Razov is set to become the club's eighth Ring of Fire member next Saturday (Oct. 3) when Chicago hosts the New England Revolution at 7:30 p.m. (Buy Tickets).
Over the course of seven seasons with the Fire, Razov appeared in 125 regular season matches, scoring a club-record 76 goals and adding 44 assists. He made 26 postseason appearances for the Men In Red, scoring 10 goals with nine assists, while helping Chicago raise the 1998 MLS Cup and 1998, 2000 and 2003 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophies.
