Shaun Maloney enjoyed more than a decade of success at the highest level: pulling the strings for clubs like Celtic, Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic, raising the F.A. Cup, and establishing himself as a key cog in the Scottish National Team.
But, looking for a new challenge, Maloney opted in January to bring his playmaking ability to Major League Soccer, joining up with a manager who had had his eye on the Scottish playmaker for over a decade.
