Chicago Fire Foundation to Host 17th Annual Season Kickoff Luncheon, Presented by Magellan Corporation

CHICAGO (Feb. 13, 2015) – The Chicago Fire Foundation, the charitable arm of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, will hold its 17th Annual Season Kickoff Luncheon, presented by Magellan Corporation, on Monday, March 2 at 11 a.m. CT at the Hyatt Regency Chicago (151 E. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60601).

The luncheon offers Fire supporters an opportunity to meet and greet the 2015 squad prior to their opening day match against the LA Galaxy at the StubHub Center on Friday, March 6 (9 p.m. CT / UniMas). Proceeds from the event will benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation.


In addition to interacting with Fire players, coaches and technical staff, the event includes a reception and lunch. The Chicago Fire Foundation will also host an extensive silent auction, available online, that will allow attendees and fans at home to bid on autographed Fire gear, additional sports memorabilia, gift certificates and much more. In 2014, the Season Kickoff Luncheon raised more than $70,000 benefiting soccer and education programs for underprivileged Chicagoland youth.


Tickets are now on sale here or by calling (708) 496-6657. Tickets are $80 a person, with full tables for 10 guests at $750. Tables with players and coaches are $850 and subject to availability. Prices are subject to increases.


The club also announced on Thursday that Jen Lada, an anchor and reporter for Comcast SportsNet Chicago, will emcee the event.


Established in 1998, the Chicago Fire Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life throughout Chicagoland by leveraging its resources and expertise in the area of soccer to provide sports-based youth development and direct-service programs to underserved communities.
