2014 Goal of the Year Day 3 DL

RECAPPING TUESDAY:

Tuesday was Election Day in the U.S. and like the Democrats, Robert Earnshaw can't seem to catch a break.

The Welshman's #1 seeded chip from October 2 at Philadelphia led the polls for most of the day, but #4 Quincy Amarikwa's individual effort on September 20 vs. D.C. saw a late surge before midnight and powered past Earnshaw to deliver the first upset of the 2014 Aldi Goal of the Year Tournament.

Earnshaw has seen two of his three entries in the tournament eliminated in the first two days of voting while Amarikwa picked up his first-ever tournament win after seeing his lone entry eliminated in the first round last year.

WEDNESDAY'S MATCHUP:

We open up the Nowak Bracket where #2 seeded Harry Shipp's slicing and dicing effort on June 7 vs. Seattle faces #3 Juan Luis Anangono's perfectly placed finesse header on May 3 vs. Real Salt Lake.

Watch both goals in the video above and vote for your favorite by 11:59pm CT Wednesday below.
