Orr Barouch set to re-join Fire in Tucson as trialists are released from camp

Orr Barouch DL

On Saturday the Chicago Fire head to Tucson, Arizona for two weeks of training and the preseason Desert Diamond Cup for final preparations leading to the team’s season opener March 9 at Chivas USA.

Earlier this week, Frank Yallop told reporters he and his staff would likely be trimming down the team’s camp roster before heading to Arizona and on Friday the club announced that SuperDraft selection Bryan Ciesiulka, along with guest players David Meves, Freddie Braun, Tim Ward, Daniel Jackson and Andrae Campbell would not be joining the team in Tucson.

The un-signed players that will continue in Fire camp include first round SuperDraft selection, defender Marco Franco, former Karlsruher defender Parker Walsh and midfielder Grant Ward, who is trialing with the club from English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

As mentioned at last month's preseason press conference with the Fire Technical Staff, forward Orr Barouch also re-joins the team in Tucson after spending the last year and a half on loan with Israeli Premier League side Bnei Yehuda. The Israeli youth international scored five goals in 41 competitive appearances (most of them as a sub) for the Fire in 2011-2012.
