Fire defender Arne Friedrich to throw out Ceremonial First Pitch at Chicago Cubs game Tuesday night

CHICAGO, Ill.  – Chicago Fire defender Arne Friedrich will throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch at the Chicago Cubs vs. New York Mets game on Tuesday, June 26 at Wrigley Field at 7:05 p.m. CT. The German international and two-time World Cup veteran will then join teammates Dominic Oduro and Dan Gargan to lead  Cubs fans in singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the traditional 7th inning stretch.
The Men in Red have put together a string of good results recently, defeating the New York Red Bulls 3-2 on Sunday, June 17 and the Columbus Crew 2-1 on Saturday, June 23, effectively ending the six-game unbeaten streaks of both teams.
