In Day 10 of the 2011 Goal of the Year Tournament, #1 Dominic Oduro’s curling game winner in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup semifinals vs. Richmond on August 30 eased past #3 Cory Gibbs’ late diving equalizer on May 28 vs. San Jose. With the win, Oduro claims the Klopas Bracket title and awaits the winner of Tuesday’s Kubik Final between #2 Marco Pappa (March 26 vs. KC) and #4 Diego Chaves (10/15 at DC) in Thursday’s semifinal.
