The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced the signing of Uruguayan forward Gaston Puerari from Montevideo Wanderers. The 25-year-old striker leaves the Primera Division Uruguay to join the Men in Red and will be added to the club's roster upon the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P1 Visa. Per league and team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Puerari becomes the 10th player added to the Fire's preseason roster following the conclusion of the 2010 MLS season in late October.
