Today kicks off 15 days of tournament voting to determine the 2010 Chicago Fire Goal of the Year.
The crack Chicago Fire staff took the top 16 goals from this season, seeded them and placed them into brackets with four regions named after players that became Ring of Fire members: Kubik, Klopas, Armas and Nowak.
Today’s match up, in the Kubik Bracket: #1 seed Marco Pappa’s 51st minute strike on Opening Night, April 10, at Toyota Park against the San Jose Earthquakes vs. #4 seed Baggio Husidic’s 52nd minute strike against Chivas USA on May 1.
